I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20
years; practiced 14 years in Phoenix prior to moving here to the Denver
area.
My professional interests anything I can learn about creatively using
learning styles to teach and improve cognitive, organizational and day
to day functioning for my clients.
I am
especially interested in Neuro Diversity, Spectrum Disorders and brain
rehab. I do an “Understanding the Brain Workshop” with combined
psychiatric conditions and ADHD; Learning Disabilities; head trauma
therapy using neuro cognitive techniques to enhance memory, problem
solving, planning day to day and emotional functioning.
I do one on one counseling and group counseling;
ADHD/Organizational in home coaching; Work site consultations to improve
productivity; Forensic Consulting: consultation on special needs
adults/children/teens; Case Management Standard of Care; Dual Diagnosis
for ADHD/Psychiatric Diagnosis.
My personal interests include laughing, connecting with people; Cultural
Diversity; Colors; reading mystery novels: movies; theatre; travel;
dogs; cooking and baking, collecting cookbooks: making jewelry; crafts;
travel; music-jazz, world, blues, eclectic, love country lyrics; weekend
and day road trips to beautiful and interesting places; antiquing;
decorating; visiting art museums and galleries
