I earned my masters degree in Counseling Psychology from
the University of Colorado in 1997 and have been in private practice
since 2001. I am a past President of the Colorado Association for
Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values, and an active member of the
American Counseling Association. I have previous
training with Dr. Harville Hendrix in the area of Imago Relationship
Therapy. Likewise I have studied with Dr. David Burns M.D. in the area
of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
My professional activities outside my clinical
practice include teaching at the graduate school in counseling
psychology at the University of Colorado, Denver, serving in an
administrative, management, and marketing capacity with a large group
practice in Colorado, coaching and consulting with new therapists on how
to successfully start and manage their private practices.
Personal interests include spending time with my wife
and two young children, outdoor activities, and home remodeling.
